Zounds Studio
Recording studio Zounds Brno deals with sound processing and music production. We specialize in post-production, mixing & mastering and creation of original music. The recording studio is located in Brno – Královo Pole. We provide recording of all kinds of musical instruments across different genres. Thanks to the mobile recording technology we offer recording anywhere (concert hall, rehearsal room, etc.). We use first-class equipment from companies like Universal Audio, Neumann, Steinberg, Avid, and more.
About me
I have been an active musician and studio sound engineer for over 10 years. I graduated in Audio Engineering from Brno University of Technology and have worked for several recording studios, where I gained extensive experience in creating recordings across the spectrum of all musical genres. I am also involved in the development of music software and HW for recording studios.

A professional approach to business is how I can describe our experience at Zounds studio. They know a lot about recording, especially vocals recording. They can put your vocal perfectly in the mix, and also help you to choose the microphone individually according to the timbre of the voice. So you will sound amazing if you are able to sing at least somehow. You can always expect a great sound from them because they have a creative approach to mixing and can come up with great ideas that put the overall sound of the band to the next level. And what’s important, there’s a friendly atmosphere in the studio during the whole recording and mixing process. And yes, you can park your car just in front of the entrance.

The Book
To work with Ondra has been an amazing experience. The recording process turned out smooth and comfortable, thanks to his practicity and focus on details. Our goal was to achieve a peculiar sounds, huge and “loud” by preserving some sort analog warmth and dirt typical of the 90’s metal productions. Although more familiar with more modern type of sound, Ondra quickly provided us the perfect tools to satisfy our sound needs, thanks to his devoted and “out-of the box” approach and his great versatility. Definitely his dedication and knowledge to sound engineering and long-term experience made the difference. If you are into hard music and want to achieve a REAL sound, he’s the way to go.
